Greetings from Quebec
Hi everybody,
I was invited to say something about myself and my new car, so here it goes.
I've own VW Golfs since early '90s, the last was '07 Rabbit that I was planning to replace with new GTI. Thanks to dealers screw up order, that'd put delivery of the car back three months I went for A3 2.0T Quattro. As they say it is basically the same car in different body + AWD and added luxury. So far I do like the car. Since all my previously own cars were manuals it is little strange for me to get use to DSG transmission that we selected, also the weight of the car put my expectation of performance back little bit, again I guess something I've to get use to.
I'm looking for help to select good winter tires for the car, but I guess I'll leave this for my first post in the forum.

welcome to the forum! nice audi to start off with! if you find performance is lacking look into APR chip or GIAC. I use APR myself and you can find out more info and hp/tq gains for your car at APR - High Performance Development for Audi, VW and Porsche Vehicles..
as for winter tires check out the A3 section there may be some posts on it now as its getting to be that time of the year.
one last thing is under the eastern canada section there is a montreal group there with info on meets/events if you ever want to check out some of the other audi's and see some mods!
and again welcome to the forum!
