First time owner of an 2000 Audi a6 Quattro Windows problem

Hey y'all I'm new to this site have a feeling I'm going to be using it quite often. I just purchased an Audi a6 Quattro 2000 2.8 base model I'm loving it. I owned trucks all my life this is my first car. So far I've made a good decision I am definitely a DIY guy but this is got me stumped. In the middle of the night during a snowstorm all my windows rolled down while we were sleeping what would make this happen and how do I go about fixing it. After I get the snow out of my car..?
