i just purchased a 2004 a4 1.8t quattro
its the midnight blue, fully equipped
everyone of my friends tell me maintenance is like donating a kidney.
is this true?
what are the main things i should keep an eye on or listen for while driving it... as a preventive measure
thanks

Re: First Audi ever.. 04 a4
well congrats on the car and welcome to the forum! as for regular maint it should be good. when the KMS get higher up and you have to do timing belt can be costly. but as long as reg maint is done most things should be caught before they become big things like any other car. take a look through the Audi A4 - B6 section which is your model of car and see what people are saying there. best of luck and enjoy the new wheels!

Have a 2006 a4 audi 1.8t cabrio
the led's are remaining on,the four way flasher, the headlamp switch icon and the ambient illumination switch icon.is there any way all three of these share the same connection?
And if so what could cause all three to stay on? This is killing the battery.
