Hello to all!

I currently do not own an Audi, But have the plan of purchasing the A5. I just wanted to get some basic knowledge about the car that any of you might know, and some pro's and con's of owning such a nice vehicle (if there are any cons). Also if anyone could let me know about the maintenance etc as well that would be great!

Welcome to the forum. The A5 is a great coupe, wonderfully packaged if you choose the right options. I wouldnt recommend going for the smaller engine, I feel like with mine anything smaller than the 3.2 and the car would struggle. It isnt a light car.

I cant give too much info on maintenance as I havent needed to get anything done with the car yet, but I believe from what I've read that parts themselves arent too bad, but the audi service can be a little steep.

Pros are that the car is really beautifully engineered, the interior is wonderfully built. All the parts feel like high quality material, none of that cheap plastic has found its way into some other German cars.

The cons is that it really is a heavy car. And you will feel it with a small engine. I would also probably say that maintenance cost is going to be a small con, but thats expected of an Audi.
