1999 A4 1.8T in Ontario
... hello just picked up a 1999 A4 1.8T as a "winter car" ... first German car after a history of two seater Japanese cars (1995 Toyota MR2, 1990 Mazda Miata, 2002 Mazda Miata) ..
2002 Miata is still my main drive .. but this piece of German engineering is definitely growing on me .... no more kitty litter in the trunk in winter!!!

Really good actually. The A4 has been quite a workhorse. There are some minor quibbles (a fuel gauge that never works, strange whistling when I turn right, unscheduled bearing replacements, expensive wiper motor replacement) ... overall though I really like it! After all these years, it's still really solid and a good performer. It is chipped out - can't remember the brand - and is world's faster than a stock one.
