Audio clarification
Hello everyone,
Just getting my information together before I hit the dealership.
Vehicle in question is a 2010 TT standard.
1. What does CD changer/Satellite preparation mean?
Does it mean it's ready for fitting or it is already fitted
(the word preparation makes it unclear)
2. Does the audio unit support MP3?
3. Is there an issue with the standard radio that I should consider the >$1000 move to the Bose unit. Is there really that much of a difference?
4. Do most folks consider Is the reversing sensor thingy a novelty item or something that should seriously be considered (perhaps due limited read visibility)
Thanks

2) mostly yes: mp3 files (both fixed bit rate and variable bit rate) are supported if they are saved on SD memory cards; mp3 CD (CD burnt with mp3 files) is also supported but have to be in certain burnt format (I don't recall the exact format)
3) you have to hit the dealer and compare them yourself; lotz of ppl on forumz claimed that Bose is better, but not worth $1000 (lack of base etc); usually they prefer save the $1000 to audi, stick to the standard one or buy aftermarket onez
4) dependz on driving skill; vision is indeed limited, but it'z such a small car that most ppl get the hang of it quickly; personally I found it very annoying (warning is way too early); again suggesting test drive the feature
good luck
