The glove box door on my 2005 TT started to flop open every time I hit a bump in the road. So I pried off the little plastic sockets into which the pins sit to hold it shut. I left them not totally seated to give a bit more space for the pins to seat, and now it's fine. The ultra-low-tech solution!
