Basically the power has gone, when you floor the pedal it normally throws you back when you get the little click but the exhaust just sounds loud and no proper power. Many thanks

Is there a check engine light? Sounds like you are in limp mode and the boost is limited as some vital part has given i suggest you stop driving it and vag-com it and check what went. If you dont want ti to be too expensive stop driving it right now before something else breaks

CLICK ME!!! It is a diagnostics tool for your car it pays for it self in my opinion the very first time you use it however you need to have a laptop. It basically can diagnose the problem instead of paying the dealer $120 for every diagnostic issue
