Timing belt kit with ECS pulleys....
Audi instal was $614 full timing kit with pulleys was $324

 

Looks Good! Do you notice any difference running the pully kit. Also, did Barrie audi do your install for $614, you supplied the parts? My timing belt will be due next year, so Im curious.

 

i think it feels faster!! runs great....also better on gas on the HWY 5.9L per 100k....and yes Audi Barrie did the install...i got the kit from ecs.com

 

Sounds Good. I Imagine Ill be doing the same thing next June when I hit the 100K mileage mark. Its good to know what they charged you to make sure they dont try to gouge me. Was that with taxes in?

 

i also did the thermostat (extra 2 hours)...total was 815.68 they put on all my parts...i think i saved $700 ish

Audi charged $800 after you supplied your own parts and you say you saved $700? So is the TB service $1500?

I got quoted by an Audi Dealer (Audi Uptown Markham) for about $1000 for the TB service... sounds way off!

 

audi barrie and also audi newmarket told me $1700 i also did the full pulley kit and thermostat....so im happy with what i payed.
