Yes, I understand the guage problem is a voltage regulator issue on the pcb. Lcd is faulty soldering
Someone correct me if I am wrong.
Very common problem.
Cheapest non DIY fix is to remove dash pod and send it for repair.

Cost is about $300 with a 3 day turn around. Several companies will rebuild instrument pod, one near Chicago, another in Idaho. Check Amazon and/or Ebay.

mine has this problem.
the temp guage works sometimes; most of the time gives a very low reading.
driver info screen is just difficult to read - i guess at what it's telling me.

A company called Speedo Solutions will rebuild your cluster for US$279. They also sell brand new ones for about $500, but don't know if they have metric Good Luck
