audi tt tiptronic 2003
Hi there,
I have an Audi with a 09g tiptronic transmission in it. I had to change the valve body because when it got hot it kept throwing itself into limp mode. The problem is the valve body I put on it does not have G193 and G194 pressure sensors. The original one did and now it throws up an error code because the tcm most likely tries to check if they are working ok. Is there any way to change the TCM to stop checking them?
Audi/Aisin took out the G193 and G194 sensors to all 09G boxes after week 27/04.
Oh the car works great apart from the error code flashing up.

No you can't stop the TCM from recognizing that fault because the software and wiring is looking for them. You have the incorrect valve body, install the correct one.
A new valve body costs 1200 dollars. And labour to put it back in. The wiring has been changed. It's only a Mil light and a code problem. Week 27/2004 Audi/Aisin 09g transmissions were built without the two sensors. My guess is that getting a 2004 tcm would be cheaper than getting a new valve body. Or getting the software to put on my one would be great. As long as it is only the TCM that looks for it. I did find one website in which a guy put a manual box into his automatic Audi and had a fair few problems, which I don't think were resolved on the web.
Any idea on how to get a hold of Aisin TCM makers?

AISIN
The ECM, TCM and Instrument cluster are connected via CAN. The Instrument cluster and ABS is also connected via CAN. Faults would be generated to the ECM with an indicator to the TCM as the originator. Depending on the fault, limp mode is activated and general engine performance is inhibited.

So the TCM is where the fault originates? Right now my TCM is a 09G 927 750 L the 2004 is 09g 927 750 ca. I can't seem to get on Aisins website.
My answer, Aisin will direct you to an Audi repair centre and you're trying to fit a round peg in a square hole.
The parts don't fit and the controllers are telling you that in a fault code.
