Ok kinda what I thought, he was not interested in that deal, he was already doing it for half price for 2 reasons, one to add to his portfolio, two, cause I've known him for 20+ years & we had recently discussed doing a shoot with my car, & I was still looking @ $250-$300, why I mentioned it as a group I woulda got some pro shots at a fraction of the cost, I understand where he is coming from, being an electrician, I get asked all the time to hook up a hot tub or replace a breaker panel & get offered a case of beer, also understand some of you are not looking for a pro & that's cool, I'm still going to set something up with him, I'll post up after, he said he would still like to a group session & maybe after you see his work you will have a change of heart, and I'm still game if an amateur steps up & decides to do this, I love the contrasts between all the different models like at the meets

 

I think we can do both here. Those that are interested can show up for the pro shots on a decided upon date and those not for the pro can meet up on a separate date.

I am in for the pro shots ...... we just have to pick the date now. My car is in the shop for a week getting a new steering rack so and I was thinking sometime in the fall when the leaves change colour.

Thoughts?

We can meet at Burlington Mall in a group of 6-8 cars, and take pics in the country just north of Burlington. We'll get the two or three guys who have DSLRs to get some pics, and it'll be fun.

Count me in both as a driver/audi owner and a photographer (albeit not at the same time lol).

I'm no pro photographer but I have an average Nikon DSLR available, or worst case scenario, I could always rent a higher end Nilon for the day.

(Obviously no car shots as I haven't had many opportunities but with such an event, I might have enough of them to add a section on just cars to my site).

 

Put me down as a maybe. I'm in if it's a weekend that I don't have my son. He can be a handful on a road trip. I've got a DSLR as well for the shoot.
