Arybbas has organized a cruise up through the Muskoka area on October 24th. I think this would be a great opportunity for us to not only get together but involve our better half (if you have one). The fall colours should be spectacular along with the scenic roads. I plan on going but will need to confirm with my wife when she gets back from Europe. Here is the link and write up.

Looks like fall is here and the leaves are going to be changing soon.

I know I'm new on here but I was hoping there would be some interest in doing a cruise up through Muskoka around the lakes on a Saturday or Sunday in October. For those not familiar with the area, there are some great "driver" roads up there and the scenery is incredible (photo ops and rolling shots!).

I was thinking of doing a loop around the North side of the lakes through Bracebridge, across the top of Lk. Muskoka, up around Rosseau, down between Rosseau and Joe for some late lunch in Port Carling at Turtle Jacks. After lunch, down through Bala and then a blast down Southwood Road (Check out the article here: Ontario’s Best Driving Roads imclumzy’s Weblog). I've driven it a few time now on the way home from the cottage and all I can say is !

that might work.. its her b-day weekend so we will do something on Saturday but i'm sure her family will wanna do something on the Sunday. but depending on the time we can do he cruise and then make it back for the dinner. =)

Perfect. We can hand out a flyer promoting the cruise. I think its a great idea and if we only get a hand full of cars thats ok as well. Count me in for now will have to confirm when wife gets back from Europe

Sorry, another thread hijacking! I live in Prince Edward County on the edge of this new wine country with an excellent wine route. It would be a good time to get out to the vineyards. Let me know if any interested??
