I am in the midst of organizing and Ice Racing Event day sometime in mid to late February. The event will involve a course that has been previously plowed on a frozen lake and right now it looks like Port Perry. The day could include some instruction from a professional driver on how to handle a car on slippery surfaces, a bonfire, ice skating etc. You could bring along other family members.

This event will be hosted by the Golden Horseshoe Audi Club and supported by Audiforum.ca.

With the help of other members and particularly DOG we are in the early to mid stages of organization. I am looking for a response to gauge the interest and to invite suggestions as this is the first time I have done this.

I like the sound of this, quite the drive for me but ill definitely take advantage of the learning some new skills, always wanted to take one of those courses.

 

Sounds like fun.....I'll keep watching the thread to see what date is decided. I'll be out of country late Feb. so hopefully there's no conflict.

Depending when it is and whether I'm in town (I spend my winters doing Boat shows) I'll be there with my family. The wife could use some lessons, hahaha. I would love to learn more about my new pruchase.
