was a great meet last night and some new faces was nice to see too!

 

i think at the rate we are going with our meets we are going to need our own section in the forum! this section is littered with golden horseshoe meets!

 

Thanks to all for making the new guy feel welcomed, it was a lot of fun last night.

If anyone is lurking and not sure whether or not to attend the next meet ... do so, they are a great bunch of guys and it was a great learning experience. My car knowledge is less than stellar but they were all very understanding of this and very friendly and patient with all of my questions.

It was great to meet everyone and I'm looking forward to the next one.

Another successful gathering!! We ended up with 9 great cars that looked spectacular as evidenced by tdenton's pics that he posted earlier in this thread (thanks tdenton). There were several people who drove by commenting on the great looking cars. We even had an older (more mature) lady who was driving her husbands B8 S4 drive stop and wanted to go racing with us (we didn't race last night).

We had a few new members last night particularly Axel with his beautiful B7 S4 Avant and Mark with his one month old B8 S4 (black on black). Unfortunately Harp was the only C6 platform but what a car!!!

When the sun was gone and the picture taking was over we then proceeded to a local establishement where large amounts of wings were consumed. Thankfully I ordered the mild ones.

The members who took pictures if you can find some way of sharing them that would be great.

I believe there is a Rally being planned that may end with a BBQ. Stay tuned for further info.
