Default The strange sound of a Audi

Hi
Many months ago i was sat at a terrasse and i saw and heard a Audi ,probably a A4 or S4 , and this car had a kind of strange and cool sound . The sound was like some compressed air valve open when the shift gear changes. I have no idea what is the cause. Do you know something about it?
Bye

Likely a blowoff/venting valve on the turbo system. That particular feature is not recommended for our cars. The Audi turbo system is designed as a closed loop system so boosted air is not vented but recycled when the throttle is closed.

Hi a4audi4fun
Sorry for the delay. What i heard seem to be a blow off /venting valve . Some people said it become rapidly annoying cause the sound is loud in the car .
Thx a lot
Bye
