Roof Rack
Does anyone have experience with the Audi roof rack (load bars). We were thinking of getting a carrier for two bikes but are concerned about scratches on the car. We have a 2007 A4.

Your post was a few weeks ago so you may have this figured out. I've got a new Q7 (a very different beast than yours, granted) and was debating as to the factory Audi rack to support my Thule box, or an after-market solution from Rack-Attack (I believe the largest Canadian auto rack retailer). I went with the Audi part and am glad I did. Solid as a rock and very easy to install and use.
