iPhone vs Blackberry

Re: iPhone vs Blackberry
Well, I've used both, and I'm a huge fan of the iPhone. I totally agree with GeneKam, it is just a better device. BB is very good for email, and does a great job of compression, but when I go on business trips, my iPhone provides me with so much more.

Re: iPhone vs Blackberry
I have been a blackberry user for ages, sense highschool when i first got the 8700g, it was a good platform but it hasnt changed much sense then, essentially all the core stayed the same till this day, RIM is falling far behind on the evolution of software. Dont get me wrong, the hardware is mostly something to die for, everything looks great, but the software is a huge crippling fact.
Iphone also offers a huge benefit to multination corporations. Considering the iPhone has very few physical buttons, it is fully customizable to the language and location. Having no physical keyboard allows user to communicate in multiple languages on the same device with a single touch. I personally was very pleased as i have a lot of family overseas that speak Russian, Ukrainian and a few other slavic languages and using the virtual keyboard that can change in seconds has significantly added the value factor to the device and the easy of language. I can go on for hours on RIMs problems how each edition of firmware (according to carrier) offers different set of languages, which is unbelievably terrible experience when needed, and needs to be hacked and a lot of the time hybrid.ed.. trust me on this.
To sum it up, iPhone offers many of enterprise features that blackberry does and just because device is build for a huge number of market clusters doesn't make it unprofessional. iPhone is engineered to satisfy needs of anybody from a 12 year old girl to a mobile professional. The app store offers apps anything from "i love jake from twilight" stuff to extremely sophisticated mobile office suites. And remind you all the apps are pretested by apple employees to ensure their stability and spyware free design.
PS: Iphone OS design simplicity personally bores me, i do appreciate how anybody in any age group and technological "incline" can fairly easily start to get a hang of the device. It emulates a lot of the natural motion we do, such as the way to flick a page or even in the browser how the scrolling and other functions work.
PS2: Just because the device is dull and boring and doesn't offer much over its competition doesn't make it more professional. Blackberry expanded into social networking markets also, and the experience in my view is actually good, so i don't hate on that. Blackberry is very picky who their primary customers are and this is a very good move considering their whole mission isn't to create a device that fits all.
Phew.. Ill try to include Spark Notes net time sorry.
/end rant
Oh and because phones can connect to our cars, thats why its here
