Insuring a car in US while waiting to be picked up
I'm planning to ship a car from the US. However, auto shippers that ship the car to Niagara Falls tend to only do door to door pickup. So how do I insure the car while it's sitting at the lot at the dealership, after I inspect the car?
There's a delay from the time the pickup gets ordered until the car actually gets picked up.
And where's the best place to pickup a car in the US for door to door service? Is it CBI USA?
Thanks

I think if you buy it, you can just call your insurance company and add it on. It's pretty easy.
There's an auto place just outside of the border at Queenston Lewiston that accepts truck delivered cars and holds them for you. They might charge you $50 or something. I was going to do that, but I eventually got impatient waiting for my S4 to be shipped, so I just flew to Atlanta and drove it back. It was damn fun.
