How do you find the navigation?

How do you find the navigation?
I've got a Q5 on order (SUPER excited!) which will also be including the nav option.
I'm curious though - how do you guys find it? I'm used to use google maps on my phone, and it's amazing to be able to enter an address in virtually any format and navigate to it, different options, traffic, very up-to-date maps, etc. The lack of integration with the car really sucks.
The Canadian version also does not seem to include realtime traffic. So for those of you who have had/really tried it out - what are your thoughts on the nav system?

I like the map, the way information is displayed and there is a lot of information available.
On the other hand, the lack of a touch screen function sucks. When it comes to entering an address, voice entries have been hit and miss so far, entering one on the MMI is tedious and the cross hair and mouse function for selecting a POI on screen is a bad joke compared to just being able to touch an icon on other systems. I believe I am taking longer to learn this system in part because I don't play with it enough, due to the fact I can't be bothered going to the trouble of making entries.
Maybe I'm a little jaded when it comes to nav systems but at this point, I'm tempted to say the best thing about this one is the backup camera. Unfortunately you can't get a camera without buying the nav system. While I hope and expect this will change some the more familiar I get, it has not made a great first impression.
Also, considering most portable GPS manufacturers are offering free lifetime map updates, the cost of updates for integrated systems is highway robbery for most carmakers and bordering on grand larceny for upmarket makes such as Audi.
