Help! New tire advice for 2011 Audi TT 2.0T S-line
Hi all,
I went to Audi today to inquire about the weird noise coming from my tires and to ask why the car was pulling. Turns out that my stock Pirelli Pzero tires are summer tires and not all-seasons as I had assumed and was told they need to be replaced.
Naturally I was shocked since my car is a 2011 and only have 33,000km (6,000 of which was just put on last month during a road trip and the noise was and pulling has been there since the summer. So, all I got was a year out of these tires and the service advisor tells me the tires are toast as they're cupped.
My questions are:
1. Is this normal for summer tires?
2. I'm looking to replace with high performance all-seasons. Any suggestions?
3. Where to buy?
Audi quoted $290 installed + tax for Continental DWS. Any other ideas? Seems pricey to me.
Also, tire size is 245/R40Z18 93Y.
Please help
