Been there; Didn't pay a penny. Got 6 months of Audi roadside assistance.

Actually, in order to put this to bed, I actually called the Audi Roadside assistance program and they said they've heard about it and saw a couple come through but that it was run by the dealers, not them. So I called my nearest dealership and confirmed that it is totally free (i.e. no purchase obligations of any sort).

Next step is to book an appointment and actually see how it goes and what they'll tell me (i.e. how much work I need to put into my car).
