Fabric Convertible top sealer, such thing?

Fabric Convertible top sealer, such thing?
Top has some wear marks and it's fuzzy in some spots. Will spray silicon damage the top? I'd like to get it nice and smooth. Plus winter coming.....

I had a B7 S4 Cab and used this stuff to keep the top looking new...

It was incredible, I would apply it twice a year, water would bead off and it eliminated the fold marks.
I found the easiest way to apply it was to pour the liquid into a bowl and get one of those foamy paint brushes and just "paint" the sealant on.
