Excessive fuel consumption

my Audi A4 2.6 V6 1995.
consumes 25 liters of fuel per 100 kilometers in the city.
how to solve this problem.

change the way you drive. you have to be more specific on your problems.

I do not know the precision that you would like more.I drive very softly . we are in Africa and we have no major boulevards.

I bought it a month ago.
I do not know the previous user. it comes from Germany.
25 liters per 100 kilometers in the city. I know it's enough for a V6 2.6
