Carproof Interpretation Help
Can someone help shed some light on the following? I'm wondering why the vehicle seems to have been registered or re-registered so many times in a short period of time?
Please also comment on any other irregularities you might see. This is the complete listing from the Summary Section.

Re: Carproof Interpretation Help
What year is the car? Could it be an import from the US? Looks like it has been moved around a lot. Possibly traded between dealers to fulfill a customer request, then the customer backed out. Is there anything on the report that indicates an accident or rebuild? Do they have the service records? If not, ask them to pull them from Audi. I would also recommend getting a US Autofax report done.

Re: Carproof Interpretation Help
If it's an 05 or 06, then it's definitely not a US car since it's manufactured then shipped to the dealer and first renewal is in Quebec (even a first in service will be labeled "renewal". US renewals are also listed on a Carproof report. What is more concerning is that it went to the auction with reasonable mileage. There have been multiple reports which found that Quebec is the nation of "spinning odometers". Now before someone gets upset, I don't say the vehicle in question has been fiddled with, just be cautious and as Oxblood says, look at the service records, do they look correct compared to the mileage and where has it been serviced? If no service records are available that should be a big red flag. Also, the fact that it's sold in QC at auction and only 2 months later its Drive Clean inspection is done makes me wonder what happened in the meantime.
