I'm purchasing a 10 years old used Audi A4 privately in Ontario. We got the Used Vehicle Information Package (UVIP) in Ontario to complete the sale.

Wholesale value is showing up as 'Not Available'. I guess the reason could be, ownership and UVIP has model shown as "41Q", which probably means A4 1.8T Quattro, but it wouldn't fit, so they shortened it. Now when UVIP looks up the Canadian Red Book value, there's no direct match. I went to look at the price in Canadian Red Book, there was a wholesale price listed.

HST is paid on greater of two: wholesale price or agreed selling price with buyer

Would the ServiceOntario agent at the counter believe I purchased the vehicle below wholesale price as UVIP did not list a price?
Or will they pull up the Canadian Red Book and use the wholesale value as the minimum for HST calculation purposes? Or will they ask me to do a vehicle appraisal?
