Make sure you do this within the first 5 minutes of getting in your car.
Turn BT on in your phone, add new devices, once you find the Audi connection choose to connect. The password is 1234. That should do it
I have a question; is this a US car? The reason why I'm asking is because I know that a lot of cars that were imported into Canada last year when the $ was at par, had the BT units removed by the dealers down there. They could sell them for more cash!

Thanks afretes. I'll give it a try tonight. It's a Canadian car, nothing's missing from it.

I'll check my records to makse sure that BT was available in 2006 S4s. In the eman time, check if you have a phone cradle connection inside your armrest.

Meaning no phone prep. Your car was not built with the phone prep for BT. The 07 blue avant I looked at for sale here in Regina had the same thing. The NAV head unit will still have the "PHONE" button and will take you to that screen, but that's it.

As afretes mentioned, to confirm, look in the arm rest for a plastic base with a few flat bare electrodes. It is not hidden and will be visible as soon as you open the arm rest if it's there. If it's not there, then there is no phone prep and no BT.

Also to confirm, you can call Audi Canada with your VIN and they can give you all the options your car was built with.

Nothing in the armrest. No car BT for me then.
Thanks for your time, guys

Anytime, Leo.

If you are interested in getting a fully plug and play BT set up for your car you might want to check this one out. It's identical to the OEM BT, but for less money.

I checked. BT was an option in 2006, its cost was $645.

I can't justify that kind of dough for just a BT option. Thanks again, guys.
