I have a 1999 A6. The original driver side mirror is all blurry and shows ghost images.

Called Audi Parts. $230 for the dimming mirrors, $50 for the regular. I guess I'll go with the later.

Anyone know how to replace the mirror surface. No sure how to open the mirror assesmbly, any advice would be appreciated.

just point them down until you can stick a finger in the top and pull down it might feel like your going to break it but just go for it i know it sounds bad but thats how it works dont pull from the sides just from the top then from the bottom and to put them back on just center then push in the center of the mirror
