Got an invite to a track day at Mosport Park Raceway on June 25th. I'm not sure if this is just from my dealer only or if it's arranged by Audi Canada. Either way, anybody else got this invite, and/or going to it?

I'm very interested in doing one of these performance driving days/schools. Just wondering if this is a good choice. Audiusa.com has some better looking programs.

Ok, so fack.

It's $400...but you drive your own car...sigh. I hoped we could trash THEIR cars...but my car is not seeing no damn track...costs too much

 

Might be nice to push the limits of our cars though. They'll get worn and die eventually. Why not have fun with it. I'm still debating.

 

1) I'm not rich enough
2) Tires are expensive...

It's not the car I care so much about, but rather ruining yet another set of tires....=)

I wonder if Audi Canada will ever carry an event where they provide the cars.

 

I know Porsche did offer (in the past) a track day to new owners at either Shannonville or Mosport but it was for you to get to know YOUR car. They provided it free with instructors, classroom and track , plus lunch. I don't know if they still do.

LOL. Yeah. I would've gone to Pfaff had I known about their reputation before the deal was set in motion. But they were very reasonable with me and definitely no regrets.
