Default Audi "Customer Satisfaction Study"

As a new Audi owner I was looking forward to receiving this and expressing a few opinions on my new vehicle. Instead, I was very disappointed to receive a marketing survey which has no place for subjective input, is obviously not intended to be read by humans and contains a lot of questions which have nothing to do with the vehicle, many of which are quite personal. It went in the shredder.

Have you filled out the fairly lengthy on line survey? I recall filling it out 2 months a go there was a section on vehicle specific questions.

It's the same survey. My point is, it is only interested in my selecting one of their choices of answers to one of their questions, so the survey can be read by machine and entered into a computer data base for marketing purposes. It is not really interested in my opinion, therefore not worth my time.

Every Audi owner receives a survey post-purchase, that not only has circles for picking a pre-programmed option, as well as comments below. There is plenty of space for individual opinion, this may be a different survey we are talking about. This survey will hit your Inbox, or JunkMail keep checking, anywhere from a week to one month after you pick up your car.

I have also more recently received a survey that was tuned for marketing purposes (Bought my car in March 2012 and surely received a survey with plenty of space for my opinions). If your purchase is very recent, you may still get the post purchase survey we are both talking about. Keep us in the loop.

Feel free to use the email provided on the Audi website for further individual input (Contact Info can be found at Audi.ca --> Contact Us link). Audi Canada spends plenty of $$'s to find out what their clients "needs" and "wants" are. You will get more chances to voice your opinion, count on it.

Cheers,
Paul

I purchased at the beginning of April.

The only follow up I have received so far is the one from Maritz Research and it has the option of doing it on line. It has no space or request for individual comment and less than a quarter of it concerned the vehicle itself.

I thought it was incredibly tacky that Audi would consider a personal data gathering exercise farmed out to a third party company, some sort of "customer satisfaction survey"

Anyway, it's gone to recycling now and so has the password to do it on line.

I hope there will be something more meaningful from Audi itself.
