Audi Canada delivery was horrible !!
We purchased a manufactured Q4 etron that was on the ship to Canada. The expectation was that this would be delivered in four to six weeks. Our dealer was Audi Queensway (part of the Dilawri Group).
When it arrived in Halifax, Audi inspection found the coolant pump for the battery was faulty and they needed to replace it. However, since it had not yet been transferred to us, only the dealer could get info. The dealer was very conscientious in following regularly, but Audi Canada gave no committed date for the part to be delivered and no date for it to be installed. That took four weeks with no commitments.
Then it sat in Halifax for another week before being shipped to Toronto. The dealer was notified that it arrived in Toronto’s Audi lot, but with no committed delivery date to the dealer. It’s been over 10 days that the car has been sitting in the lot and no delivery yet.
I’m surprised at Audi’s lack of commitment, and their lack of planning. There just doesn’t seem to be enough care or concern. And I’m especially surprised that Audi Queensway (and the Dilawri group of dealers) have so little sway over Audi - clearly an unproductive relationship.
This is our first Audi after Mercedes and BMW cars. Not a great way to start a brand relationship. I dread the rest of the ownership experience.
