Hmmm... I am currently debadging my A4 and 1.8T letters. Will leave the rings on. What do you think about leaving/not leaving the "Quattro" on? It's usually right below the 1.8T on the right bottom side of the trunk. On, off... I'm undecided on that part!

Looks good. Ditch the quattro badge. Sticks out like a sore thumb.

 

debadging is generally done for one of three reasons

1. conservatism - to hide the excellence of the car (i.e. removing S6 or V10 badges)
2. aesthetics - to clean up the look of the rear end a la that TT above
3. shame - to hide the car model and keep people guessing if it's more upmarket than it is

hopefully you're doing it for #2, in which case there'd be no reason to leave that quattro badge back there on its own

 

Just for you, Saki, I left the front and rear S4 badges on the avant...

 

Fair enough. I would say it would be reason #2, but truthfully I'm not exactly thrilled at advertizing the engine size at 1.8T. The car has a Quattro as part of the front grill too...which is another reason I've left the back one on as of yet.

PS - I'm surprised someone would be shamed to have an Audi of any sort!
