In fact cheeba, I wanted the look more than the weight saving. But since I've never seen a roof top not attach to the car, I didn't know how it's made.
all the ideas you mention are really good; in fact that's what I've done. But I like the way carbon fiber looks. And it's so damn sexy on a roof.

Haha, if it was just some wrap for looks, then why does it have to be light? Do they make lead-lined CF wrap??? Just buggin'
