RS4 at World Fine Cars - need help from GTAers
I've been looking for a B7 RS4 for a while and there is one for sale at World Fine Cars that has piqued by interest. However, I am in Kingston and don't really want to drive to the west end of Toronto to just take a look.
For some reason I can't post the link here, but if you go to the World Fine Cars website it is the only RS4 on there (2008, black).
To that end, is there anyone here who has either seen the car or drives past WFC who wouldn't mind taking a quick once-over to see what the car looks like in person? Unfortunately, pictures and the saleman's description only go so far.
Thanks in advance!

Hey MFT
Did you make any progress on this car?
I live around the corner and can stop in if you'd like.
There is a good Audi mechanic (Eurotech) around the corner from there also. They did an inspection on my S4 before I bought it. I would recommend the spend, he did a great job. As I'm sure you know these cars can be very pricey to fix if there are any hidden issues.

Thanks for the offer, I appreciate it. Someone from the Audizine forum actually ended up checking it out for me already. Apparently it was in really good shape and I'm going ahead with buying the car. The dealer is going to do a PDI for me, so hopefully that will be good enough.
Also, are they doing a compression test and leak down, chain rattling for more than a couple seconds at start-up, etc.? I'm not entirely sure what involves a PPI. Sometimes they can be pretty lame. Just making sure.

So you're going through with it. Nice! When it's time for you to pick it up (assuming it passes all the mechanical tests I wasn't able to verify), you should let me know and I can drop by and say hi.

I am still debating about getting an outside party to do the PPI, either a good indy Audi mechanic or Queensway. Have any good suggestions for an indy familiar with RS4s?

Yeah, definitely excited. I'll let you know about timing, I am supposed to pick it up on Saturday, late morning.

Here it is!
Thanks again for checking the car out for me...Picked it up on Saturday, great drive home! Saw about 5 MK6 GTI's on the way home and...0 RS4's! And the exhaust note...wow, no matter what kind of exhaust modifications you do to a GTI, you'll never get the same sound!
Anyway, started the detailing tonight:
1. Wash with Dawn
2. Decontamination with CarPro Trix (Tar and Iron remover)
3. Wash again with Dawn
4. Detail engine bay and clean up doorjambs, etc.
Next up:
1. Clay Bar
2. 2-step polish with Menzerna SI1500 + SF4500 using RA polisher
3. Wax with Klasse AIO & Collinite Super Doublecoat Auto Wax
4. Seal with Meguiar's Ultimate
I'll take some pictures once it's done...then, out on the road (just in time for winter)...have Hartman 18" wheels on order and Michelin Pilot PA3 snows ready to mount...

COngrats on the buy! That car is amazing! I love it, hopefully sometime soon I can get one too. Enjoy it and make sure you do services even thought it may not require it. Has any carbon cleaning been done on it yet?
