Low Down on my 05 S4
As some of you may or may not know, I managed to find the previous owner of my car through a youtube video I ran across.
So I met up with him tonight in Mississauga and this is what I found out.
Mods.
GIAC tune
H&R Coilovers.
H&R front and rear sways
19" in moda rims.
Full AWE tuning exhaust with the downpipes.
Evolution peformance CAI ( even thought it's not really a CAI) haha
Also all work on the car is up to date all done by Audi and a new clutch and flywheel were installed just a few K ago as he was thinking of keeping the car.
I called about the recalls, all recalls are done as well nothing outstanding.
He also gave me all the documentation, pics, and original emails (printed out) when he was in discussion with the sales man.
He payed $74,612 + gst/pst on October 5th 2004. At the time the car came with every option and the premium package was payed for.
The car was dynoed tested by Audi and did 347HP to the wheels. (Once I finds the print out he will get it to me)
With all the mods, on the low side the car should be doing 420 HP to the wheels and on the high side 450.
It was a pretty interesting night.
I also received all the extra keys and the valet keys.

Thanks Mike, once again reassurance that I made the right choice in buying the car. He also said the tint was installed by a shop called Lazertint in Woodbridge. I understand they only deal in high end vehicles.

Ya you did get a steal on that car!!! it's in mint shape and like always i have to comment on the color, Love it!

Unless it has a supercharger, your estimate of 420hp is way off-track...
Given the mods done to the car, it would be a very generous dyno to even get you 347whp...
It's probably closer to 275 @ the wheels, the #'s from "Audi" are bogus. Whoever told you that was lying...

sorry guys only going by what I was told, wether it's true or not is beyond me as the car has never been dynoed post mods. I didn't post this to start an arguement or a debate. I was just sharing the new I received with a few of the guys I had met previous from the forum.

no worries man! i know its bloody fast! i have a A4 2.0T tuned at about 280hp 335t and you leave me behind! lol
one of these GH meets we will get the dyno done and you can post up what the car is doing with the mods. never the less you and i and the rest of the GH crew know ya have a sweet car! also nice to see the list of mods too!

Thanks Clay, I will be getting the car dynoed hopefully soon so I atleast know the true HP rating but it's not that important either but I am curious. I'm heading up to Mike's tonight to do the DIY for the spark plug change. Coming out?
