If you guys are ever interested in getting a Maserati or Ferrari out of warrantee:

clutch - 6000 + bell housing add 2500
oil change - 450
water pump - 4500
heater core - 5500
spark plugs and all fluids - 2200
F1 pump/motor - 5000. if you have paddleshift version
power window actuator arm - 800
change headlight bulbs - service alone 150 because you need to remove wheels and wheel well
If hid light controller breaks. Full set with controller ignitor and 2 hid bulbs plus labour. 900
Read engine code CEL - 100 per visit
air filter change - 200 - because you need to remove driver side wheel and wheel well
high performance muffler + labour - 3000

Ferrari add 2500-5000 above numbers

Ouch! $100 to read a CEL?? Man, they have pretty high views of themselves eh? I guess you can't just buy a cable like us VAG guys?

ODBII reader about $80-$120. Only thing it can do is read CEL codes and reset CEL nothing else.

SD2-SD3 - to do VAG stuff, change settings for lights, engine settings, cluthc sensor setitngs, PIS for clutch and F1 reset and functions - $25,000-30,000
No joke.

Only Ferrari/Maserati dealers have these .. maybe a handfull of indy shops less than 10 in the WHOLE North America.

I guess you've never been to the Audi dealer

anyway, Ferrari pricing is pretty simple...mix one part rare parts that are expensive...one part owners who rarely touch their cars...one part ferrari trained techs are rare as hell...and one part mechanics knowing the customer has some dough, so they tax them...and you've got a rip off.

I actually have a couple of friends with modern ferraris. one who does just about everything himself...and one who hasn't a clue how todo a thing to his cars (nor would he want to). Apparently they're not terrible to work on (the DIY guy has a Modena and used to have a 328 GTB). Just hard to find information, unlike the more mainstream models where there are DIYs for everything on teh forums.
