Default Eibach springs

I just got a quote on some Eibach springs with a drop of 1.5 for my 08 A4 Quattro. The quote was taxes in, install and allignment for 850 dollars.
Can someone tell me if that is a good deal or not?

waste of money without changing your dampers, you will find as I did your stock dampers will degrade quickly. I therefore recommend either Koni FSD with Eibach springs or Koni coilovers, I have this setup on two of my cars an 07 GTI and 05 TT

You can live with your OE shocks - maybe they will last about one year and then you are into another expense of doing it again to replace your shocks. Eibachs are great now choose a decent shock - Konis are very good! BTW - the quote you got isn't bad at all.

the springs can be had for 300-350...so I would think 850 is on the expensive side
