Audi Repair Shops REFERRALS

Re: Audi Repair Shops REFERRALS
I searched the thread and it didn't come up; Schnell's (independant mechanic) VW in Peterborough is a great spot.
Friendly staff, very helpful and good prices on parts. I can't comment on their worksmanship, but there is a metric tonne worth of Dubs in the parking lot, so they must be doing something right.
Give them a call and compare. Ask for Randy.

Re: Audi Repair Shops REFERRALS
Bero Motors - service quality is good but the prices are higher than most ind ependent VW/Audi shops. I think they know they can get away with a higher price because right down the street is the Audi and VW Queensway dealer...and compared to dealer prices they are less.
I found Independent Tuning to be affordable...but I called around and I think they knew I was looking for a good price. I had to drive from the west-end...but I saved myself at least $100 bucks.

I would never take my car to be fixed at hero again, but I would go there to buy the black forearm they have parked out front.

I will remember not to ever buy a car from you: that is so dishones fixing a car on the cheap and when it backfires on you, you pawn off the problem onto an unsuspecting (innocent) buyer (by-stander).
SHAME ON YOU: you are no better than the mechanics who are trying to take you for a "ride"!

I bought my first car from Nero. A mk3 golf. Then I did an aftermarket clutch install at hero and they put the clutch disk in backward. They called me to tell me I have the wrong part but after forcing them to look at their work they found the disk was installed backwards. My TT's tranny was never the same after and ultimately led to the sale of my car. I like Andy but there is better mechanics for modded Audi cars.

I stated I bought my first car from BERO MOTROS from Andy. It was a MK3 Golf.
Then i bought my second car, a audi TT which i bought from another dealer. I then took my Audi TT to Bero motors to fix my transmission bearing and upgrade my clutch. This work was done incorrectly leading to more transmission problems caused by Bero motors themselves. Of course they did not want to fix the second problem even though the caused it.
When it came time to sell my moddified Audi TT, I sold it to a fellow AudiZiner who bought my car with the full knowledge the the transmission needed a rebuilt or something to get rid of the chatter. I also gave him a massive discount, al my spare parts and list of mods and warranties. I sold him my car for around $7,500 which was an excellent deal for both parties.
Therefore your assumption about me being a punk or taking advantage of unsuspecting buyers is incorrect. My TT is with someone who loves and cares about cars and unfortunately I was unable to keep the TT and my new S4.
