Thumbs up Another Kudos to Audi Mississauga

Sorry that I can't go into details about this incident but I had a stolen part last weekend and since it was a last minute thing, I didn't expect the part would be available. However, given I need this part urgently, Audi Mississauga Services and Parts had gone over and beyond to get the part for me.

Another 2 thumbs up for them.

do you all 'truly' like the people at the audi of Mississauga? I might have been treated differently because my audi was an outdated one.

I replaced 2 ignition coils at a garage ($150/each). About a week later, I found that the dealer was supposed to replace the whole ignition coils for free. I went to the Audi of Mississauga and asked them to do so.

They replaced all four ignition coils. Then, I asked them to give me back the two ignition coils which I replaced at a garage, they said they sent those two to the headquarter to check...

Isn't this unfair?

I don't quite understand your explanation... did Missisauga replace the 2 ignition coils originally or was it another "garage"? If so what do they have to do with the first two?

The actual procedure to get your money back for faulty coils is to submit your receipt for coil replacement to Audi for reimbursement...might take a while but the cheque comes through eventually.

i think what he is saying is that he got it done on his own, then took it into audi...
i currently have a similar situation, where i had to replace a coil and they said it wasnt under recall, now a month later i have a letter saying come in for the recall...

having said that, your first mistake was going to the first mechanic, when i talked to audi mississauga the guy told me straight up, its a 28$ part, and take less than 15min to change...

theres a few ppl out there who have VAG COM, even some stores have it and will check your computer code for around $40, had a guy at euroline read me the code (misfire in cylinder3)
cleared, and i replaced it...no more problems.

**if you had initially changed ignition coils at audi, they would have given you a refund
