Hmm this sounds like a pretty ridiculous problem. You must have some sort of terminal point under the hood to temporarily boost the vehicle.

Actually its in the trunk on the passenger side.

There must be terminals under the hood for boosting though right?

Nope not on the S4, I've changed my steering wheel a few times now and have a fear of the airbag exploding on me so I've disconnected mine a few times. Spare tire out, plastic cover off then you find it.
