looking for a good TRUSTWORTHY mechanic/shop
for my A8L 2004(d3) 4.2
it's currently in my driveway.
Needs error codes pulled
was driving on cruise control and the vehicle just started to decelerate--engine kept running. stop started took off--same result
any help or suggestions very much appreciated.
PS. someone came by last night and felt the last guy to do the oil change DID NOT add the oil !! can you believe it.
How can I confirm there is no oil in engine. dip-stick does read very very low.

I will answer my own questin.
Get a VAG code scanner.
I went to Stealership, a german tuning guy, and I tinkerer.
my impression is that they are all businessmen trying to maximize revenues. Stealership being the worst.
everyone who works on Audi's seems replacement crzy. no one wants to fix or repair, just replace.
