Default Clear Bra Recommendations

Hi everyone,

My Q5 is going to arrive on Monday, and with the crazy gravel in the winter it would be in my best interest to get a clear bra for it.

Any recommendations? And how much should I expect to pay for this?

Thanks!

As far as my research has taken me it should cost you about 300-500 dollars for the good quality stuff depending on the installer. Less if you do it yourself of course. The brand I have is 3M scotchgard PPF ( paint protecting film) and its been on my car for 5 years. Check my photos and you can barely see it is there, though I can see it starting to yellow a little
(previous owner wasn't a huge fan of car wax)

as for places to get it done..
Davinci's Workbench
Trim-line of calgary
The car salon
Thompson Graphics
Shadow Tinting
Darksidez
Calgary Shield
Refine Automotive salon
TDS enterprises

All sell the 3M stuff, so you can shop around a bit for the best price. As for quality of service, i'm still new to the area myself so I couldn't tell you from personal experience.
Happy hunting

I did the clear bra for mine at Icon Graphics and Tinting in NE Calgary. They charged me $ 310 for the hood, fenders, mirrors. They charged me extra $ 40 for the fog lamps. They said I have to polish the clear every three months and the price included a first time polish of the clear bra. For what I know the price varies on the model.

Cheers

Quality can vary. I did full hood on mine so had to upgrade to product that came large enough to cover and I had it done at Royal Oak. Seems okay to date, 6 months old.
