Alberta / Calgary MEET???
 

Hey guys the official date is April 17th 2008! Meeting will be held at Boston Pizza on 17th Avenue between 9th and 10th Street SW! Parking is in the rear! Meeting will start at 7:30pm and run for roughly 30-60 minutes! I will be there around 7:10pm most of you have my contact if you need directions please give me a call. For those of you that would like to attend please stop by and say hello! The time chosen was to accomodate any trips on the weekend and I did not want to take away from your family time. See you all there!!! Anyone is welcome!!!

Local in Cowtown, definitely interested in a meet. As soon as my blown up A6 2.7t gets out the shop and is healthy.

Nice nice, the weather is beeing friendly as well... I am waiting on more replys so far there are 7 serious guys about this and about 15 shifty.... so i dont want to call it yet until we get more contacts, I am looking at sometime In april? Does everyone agree with this?

I can call one soon if everyone is interested but the turnout as of now will be poor looking at less than 10 people....

I'm in and I gotta give major props to 1Move for setting this up. He also went waaay beyond the call of duty and came over today with his VAG Com tool and helped me out huge.
Thanks again, let me know where and when and I'll do my best to be there.

HEY GUYS ,
well the count is official and there is currently 13 of us. There are still some members pending etc. but the official number is now 13 locally in Calgary. We need about 2 more members before I call our first official meeting. Any suggestions at where we should hold the meeting??? Something not too far I would like to keep it somewhat central around downtown Calgary! Thinking BP's on 17th????

Alrighty Fellas...with becoming a member everyone gets a free AC re-charge if you require it, this normaly Runs at $200 and up. Also a fellow Audi driver locally is hooking us up with some custom tuning more details to come...well worth coming out. I am penciling in April 17th for a 1st meeting Location will be central D.T. place is T.B.A. The first meeting will be only 30-60 minutes. The only reason I am doing it on a weekday is because I do not want to take up anyones time with their family on the weekend.

Hey fellow local Audi Drivers, just to give everyone an update on this:

Currently we have exceded the 30 member mark. I know quite a few of you might not be able to make this meet, but for those that will the date still stands the Club is growing rapidly and very well, I am very suprised by the turn out and very glad that there are a lot of people that care about these cars as much as I do. We will see all of you there on the 17th. The Reservations should be made soon and it will be under the "Audi Club" Just let the host know. :D

1move: As it happens I am due to start a contract in Edmonton this month.
I wished I would have known when so I could come down and meet you all... It is a long way out of Southern Ontario, but it might still happen!

I don't leave home without it... 'sides if I am coming to 'Berta it'll be for a whole year... and she'd like to meet her bretheren anyway!

K Just called to Varify our reservation is still available for us and the date and time stays the same!! Please try to make it 15-20 minutes before 7:30 if you can, we start at 7:30 sharp! If I move the location some people might miss out on this as they dont check the site as often as we do. So for thisone it will be fun guys we get to watch a playoff game :D LOL nahhh we'll keep it short and sweet

I wish I could make it, but I just experienced that 'oil sludging' problem that Audi has with the AMB 1.8T, now I get a new motor, glad I have warranty.
