Default How to fix faded plastic

The sun certainly takes a toll on a vehicle's finish. Not all of us have the luxury of keeping our car in the garage, but even those that do exposure to the sun is inevitable.

One of the parts of your exterior which is most susceptible to damage from UV rays is your unpainted plastic trims. This exposure will eventually result in fading and oxidisation on your cowlings and bumpers, turning your deep black plastics to a washed-out grey.

With Autoglym Bumper and Trim Gel, it's a simple case of applying a small amount of the gel to a cloth and applying it to the affected areas.

After a quick once-over, the stark contrast between the untreated surface and the restored surface becomes apparent, giving you a shiny finish that only Autoglym Bumper & Trim Gel can leave behind. For those who are after a more natural finish, simply buff the surface with a clean lint free cloth.

Along with a rejuvenated and restored deep black look, the gel leaves the surface protected and water-resistant.
