Default stereo removal tool

I was away for 4 weeks and seem to have left a light inside the car on which drained the battery. Now the stereo is in SAFE mode. I'm assuming I 'll need the code to fix this issue? Regardless of that, I have a blaupunkt deck sitting around that I want to install. Does anyone have the tool required to remove the stock stereo from the car? If so, can I borrow it for a day? Or I could come over to your place and remove it then be gone.

Any recommendations on the install? Input appreciated.

I should have specified, I'm in the Mississauga west end so ideally someone in the GTA would be great.

I appreciate the effort jamieta430

How about no! this info is wrong, in order to get out of safe mode for the stock stereo you require a radio code to be entered.

Ahh my bad, read too quickly, I thought SAFE was after the code was entered 3 times and the unit locks out for a few hours and won't let you enter another code..

I am curious as to the being locked. I have been told I need a new radio. I have the code, have done the battery thing, did the ignition thing, and did the turn off thing and it is still locked. If anyone has any ideas, I will certainly try. It is for an Audi TT 2001. Thanks
