Personally, I think its a waste of money, but I know some people that use it almost daily...

What's your take on it?

for people who never travel it probably is a waste of money..heck i don't travel far but from time to time i go up to london,sauga, brampton, outlet malls past niagara border... etc and it's quite useful....but the nav really does make the car look alot better =)...+ u get the MMI (mainly the reason i got it)....aftermarket Navs/gps doesn't look as nice and clean...

For the B6, the RNS-E actually gives better sound quality too, on top of the obvious navigation part.

I have it and love it

even if I don't use it for most of the places i go since i know my way, it's usefull when I don't know exactly where a street is, or when im in another town.

And it looks amazing too
