I have an Audi A4 2006 who I bought from USA last november, the car had an orginal audi radio with Navigation, but it isnot from this car, the first owner bought it used. Four weeks ago my car ran out of batteries and when I had given hom start by another car, the radio asked for pin code, I could not find it in the car so I went to audi dealership and got some code from the factory but the radio doesn´t accept that code! Do someone here know what I can do so I can ever listen to this radio again ?

 

Um yeah, did the dealer pull the radio or give you a code that was on file?

 

the radio should have a sticker on it with the production number... the dealer should be able to look it up based on that...

downside is, you have to pull out the radio...

NICE! So what you are going to have to do is pay for another radio and kick the other one to the curb! Or have a lot of patiance and enter different codes each time which is a PITA!

 

Your owners manual has a spot for the radio code sticker. I know that the radio was purchased aftermarket but who knows, maybe the previous owner was smart enough to put the sticker where it belongs on the user manual.
