Default 2 Bluetooth phones

I have '06 A4 CVT. I like the auto connect bluetooth for my phone. Looking at replacing wife's cell and want bluetooth. What happens if we both get in the car together. How does the car know what phone to connect or will it connect both. if both, how do we know whose phone is ringing?

I know on my B8 it just picks the first available BT connection. I suppose there's pros and cons to this but my wife shuts off her BT by default. If I go into the TEL menu on my MMS-Low I can see my phone name on the top screen.

That would make sense I suppose. In practical terms it is only the driver who needs the BT so the passenger can answer or use the phone normally. What does MMS-Low mean - is that one of the buttons on steering wheel?

Thanks very much for the reply too - helpful.

sorry - meant to say MMI, not MMS. MMI is the media interface on the newer model Audis. The "Low" denotes its not the navi version.
