i was looking throught autotrader and a guy posted a 2000 s4 b5 for sale and it had stock oem seats and he says they are made by recaro. Are the seats actually made by recaro or does audi make them any one know>>>

The sport seats in europe are recaros. And my guess is that even the stock ones are most likely made by recaro for Audi. Recaro has been making seats for auto manufacturers for the longest time, so I'd be surprised if they actually designed and made their own seats. Maybe they'd like to take a step back to the 80's and start producing all their own electronics in the cars again...yikes.

Look at all the oem vdub interiors with recaros and no branding on them. It's pretty common.
