New to these threads but I'm in the market for my first "supercar" if you will. I've fallen in love with the RS4....but I need more room (you know with kids, dog, etc), plus if I bring home a wagon, the wife might actually let me keep it...so I thought I'd like to buy a grocery getter supercar. And this is where the trouble starts. Can anyone tell me why we can't get the RS4 Avant in North America? Is there a way to bring these in as a special order through a local dealer? I know I know, phone my dealer...but I thought I'd start here. Seems to me there's more knowledge floating here than at any dealer. Thx in advance for any help.

You may be able to bring it in but registration may be a bother to you, i'm not sure of the current legal limits on that.

If you're looking for a grocery getter supercar you may want to go with the S4 Avant. You can get it from your local dealer and it'll be easier on the budget too.

The bumpers do not meet Canadian regulations, so no way even to import personally unless you know someone..........
